Store Policies

  • By placing an order with me, you agree to:

    • Note that any images showing the products hung, framed on wood, or displayed in frames are for styling and presentation purposes only. Decoration tools, frames, and mounts are not included with the purchase. The painting is sold on an unmounted canvas sheet before being shipped in a customized tube.

    • For custom orders/commission, The custom nature of the artwork and the two-part payment process (see “Payment Process”).

    • For commission/custom work, understand that cancellations are not guaranteed and returns are not possible. For paintings purchased from my collections, you have the right to return the artwork within 14 days of delivery (see “Return Policy”).

    • Provide accurate delivery information.

    • Acknowledge that delivery times may vary depending on the artwork's complexity and external factors, like shipping carriers, busy seasons or unforeseen events.

    • Accept responsibility for any additional fees, taxes, or duties upon delivery.

    • Acknowledge that your submission is a formal request to purchase a custom piece.

    Cancel Orders
    I reserve the right to approve, deny, or cancel any order at my discretion. Orders are considered confirmed only after I approve them and receive the required deposit. If an order is denied or canceled, you will be notified promptly, and no payment will be processed or retained. If, for any reason, I decide to cancel your order during the process, I will notify you promptly and issue a refund.

    Force Majeure
    I am not responsible for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond my control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or issues with shipping carriers.

    Resale Rights
    You cannot resell the artwork for profit.

    Copyright
    All artwork remains my intellectual property. You are purchasing the physical piece, but I retain copyright. Reproduction for commercial purposes is prohibited unless otherwise agreed upon.

    You are welcome to share the artwork online or in personal spaces (e.g. social media, blogs, home display), but you may not claim or imply authorship. Please do not present the work as your own or act as if you created it. I appreciate being credited when sharing, but it’s not required.

    Gift Orders
    If you are purchasing artwork as a gift, please write the recipients address in the order form, and I can arrange for it to be shipped directly to the recipient with a personalized note.

    Dispute Resolution
    If any disputes arise, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mediation before pursuing legal action.

  • This policy applies only to commission and custom work. All paintings listed in my collections are ready for purchase with PayPal and ready to ship.

    Two-Part Payment Process
    By placing an order, you agree to the estimated price range. Because custom paintings are a creative and evolving process, I can't provide an exact price upfront, but I will stay within the price range. For this reason, I use a two-part payment process:

    1. A non-refundable deposit. If the deposit is not received within 10 days of the invoice date, it will be canceled.

    2. A final payment due before shipping. If payment is not received within 10 days of the invoice date, I, the artist, reserve the right to retain the artwork or resell it.

    Order process
    Once you’ve submitted your form, I’ll review it, and if confirmed, I will email you an invoice for the deposit. Work on your painting will not begin until the deposit is paid.

    After the deposit is received, I’ll begin your custom piece and keep in touch throughout the process to discuss progress, ideas, and any adjustments.

    Please note that major changes, such as switching the content entirely from your order form, may not be possible once the process has started.

    Uncertainty about details is completely fine and won’t be considered a major change. I’ll base the painting on your order form, and we will go from there.

    When the painting is complete and we’re both happy with the result, I’ll send the final invoice.

    Payment Methods:
    All payments are processed securely via PayPal invoices. You can pay using your PayPal account or with major credit and debit cards through PayPal. All invoices are issued in Swedish Krona (SEK), but if PayPal allows you to pay in your local currency, you are welcome to do so.

  • Returns for Purchases from my Collections
    You may return your purchase made from my collection within 14 days of delivery, if the item is returned in its original condition. Currently, free returns (shipping back) are not available.

    Order Changes for Commission & Custom Work
    Once your deposit is sent, I will begin working on your custom artwork. Any significant/major changes to the order (such as content or size) after the deposit is payed may not be possible. Please ensure that all the information in your order form is accurate and finalized before submitting your order. I will keep in close contact with you throughout the process to ensure a precise understanding of your vision, while also adding my artistic touch. If I plan to include anything not requested, I will always discuss it with you first.

    Cancellations for Comission & Custom work
    As an independent artist, I handle every order personally. Since each piece is custom-made, returns are not possible, and cancellations cannot be guaranteed. By sending your deposit, you acknowledge that I may begin working on your order immediately. If you wish to request a cancellation or refund, please contact me as soon as possible via the page “Get in Touch” linked in the footer; however, refunds are offered at my discretion once work has begun. This policy exludes orders that are damaged, lost, or stolen. For orders that are damaged, lost, or stolen, please read below.

    Damaged Orders
    If your order arrives damaged, please email me with clear photos within 24 hours of delivery. I will review the issue and offer a refund or replacement if appropriate. Claims made after 24 hours may not be accepted, as I cannot verify when the damage occurred.

    Lost or Stolen Orders
    If your package doesn’t get delivered because it got lost or stolen, I will keep in contact with the shipping carrier to figure it out and offer you a refund or a replacement if appropriate.

  • I respect your privacy and only collect personal information necessary to complete your order and communicate with you. Your data will never be shared with third parties except for order fulfillment and legal obligations.

    Payment Security
    I use secure payment methods to protect your payment information. Your contact details are only used for order processing and communication.

    Currency Display
    Prices are displayed in your local currency if detected, or in euros (EUR) if your local currency cannot be determined. All payments, however, are processed in Swedish Crowns (SEK). This information is not stored or linked to your personal data.

    Cookies & Analytics
    I use cookies to improve site functionality, including site features like the order form and announcement banner. These essential cookies are necessary for the website to function properly and cannot be disabled.

    I also use analytics cookies through Squarespace to understand how visitors use the site and improve service. These analytics cookies are non-essential and can be accepted or declined through the cookie banner. You can manage or disable cookies at any time by clicking ‘Manage cookies’ in the subfooter.
